Hi, decided to try to upload some references so here's one. I'm working on adding something to another character's and uploading that later.

Anyway, meet Lycillus, pronounces like Lie - sill - us (?) not the best way to write that I don't think but oh well. I pronounce it like that. The name comes from me combining Lycan and Bacillus and actually liking it.

Anyway, information is going to be brief as I have many things I want to do.

This boy is a big monster dog creature that's currently being housed in a research facility. He has favorite scientists/people and you can tell because he purposefully positions himself where his bigger and weirder hand/paw is away from the person. He has a really good memory and a superb sense of direction. If you put him in a maze and let him run around for a little bit, he will have it memorized. If you are hunted in said maze by Lycillus then he will make sure you get stuck in a dead end. While any scratch could be fatal, a scratch from the big glitchy one is almost certain death for whoever. I imagine it could work sort of like walker bites from The Walking Dead in that if it's just on an arm or something you can remove from your body and you act quick enough then you could live. If not, then you will slowly just sort rot/mutate until you eventually die.

Fur is soft-ish to the touch, might be how I imagine cattle to feel but a lot more fluffy. He's pretty quiet generally but can make noise. I imagine something similar to giraffe humming or sort of like rumbly sounds?
Uh, Mazellmi makes creature sounds so I'm going to be referencing various videos from them in terms of like similar to how I think this guy would sound. Minos, anxious dog, scp-015-it, gentle giant, morning walkers, the lonely creature, and scp-966.
In terms of stuff not from that guy, then like the demogorgon or maybe the heptapods from Arrival? I realize that all of those likely don't sound too similar but the point is that I can hear something like those come from this guy. I think he'd have a pretty good range in terms of pitch(?) but be more on the deeper side. You'd still hear it but it'd get into your bones slightly. I am bad with words. Sorry.
All have qualities that I think this boy would have or, with some adjustments of course, be something that he's sound similar to. I'm also toying with the idea that he can mimic sounds pretty well, which yeah, I know, probably pretty overused by this point BUT, it'd be fun. I think if I do end up going with that, he'd be much more interested in mimicking creature sounds than any speech. I might not make him be able to mimic words, at least not to a degree where you understand, like it'd still have this like rumbly quality or be kind of distorted like a crabsquid? Like you could tell that there is a slight chance that he's trying to say/mimic words he's heard but it comes out similar to the noises listed above instead of anything really resembling speech. Alternatively, could have a Bumblebee situation going on where he can mimic words but uses them to speak, like a vocal ransom note sort of deal. A word he heard from one person followed by another by someone else formula similar to spirit box/radio method. If anything needs more explaining let me know. I know I tend to ramble and make little sense to anyone who isn't myself.
