So I havent drawn in a while . . . I actually think Ive forgotten how to post to deviantart its been so long (if youre seeing this it means I did something right!)
This doesnt mean Ill be posting more often I just had some free time and Ive recently managed to get into my hero academia after failing to get into it a year or so ago and not only am I making a Bakugo cosplay I also made an oc (several actually, this was just my favourite and the only one I decided to draw)
Sorry for being gone for so long, Im going to try and reply to some comments and etc over the next few days but Im not really here a bunch,Im just here to post this random nerd that I hope you like

So lets do some type talking about this character shall we??

Name: Ruriko
Last name: Akamatsu
Height: 152cm (5.0ft)
Birthday: December 14th

Hero name/alias: Mouthful

Quirk: Regorge

Description: Her quirk allows her produce any liquid or solid substance from her mouth/throat as long as she has previously ingested that substance. She can create solid items that she has ingested and that are able to fit up her throat (she can produce grapes but not pineapples, saw dust but not planks of wood, etc). She cannot produce gaseous substances as typically they cannot be ingested.
She can only produce one substance at a time and although she has some resistance to the substances she produces, overuse of certain substances can cause her harm, such as acids or explosive substances.
She must be well hydrated to produce these substances as it is the same as throwing up in that she looses liquids, and as a result is almost constantly drinking water to avoid dehydration or fatigue. She can produce water, but it doesnt refresh her the same as normal water, but it is totally drinkable as normal water to others.
Overuse can cause dehydration or injury dependent on the type of substance she has been using. She can produce explosions but she has to produce a flammable substance and light it herself (with the use of a lighter or similar).
With every new substance ingested she experiences nausea for anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, with the exception of food items.

Strengths: Because she can produce a large range of substances included three of the four basic elements, water, fire and dirt, her quirk doesnt have a weakness against elemental quirks.
Her quirk can work both close range and long range, dependant on the substance and the amount of force she uses to propell it from her mouth.
She can also employ a similar technique to Mina Ashido by producing a slick substance to slide on to move herself quicker.
As long as she is hydrated she can constantly fire out substancess without a cool down time or needing time in between each substance.
If she can ingest a substance, she can recreate it.
She can control how much or how little of a substance is created.
She has a slight immunity to toxic substances due to her quirk, meaning she can ingest some chemicals with less repercussions than a normal person, allowing her to ingest and now produce substances such as mercury, bleach and oil.

Weaknesses: She has to constantly replace her fluids, or she risks dehydration. The water she creates does not refill her fluids like normal water.
Even though she has a higher resistance to some substances, such as acids or toxic substances, they still harm her after insistance use, and she is not immune to them on the outside if they come from other people or she gets her own substance on her skin.
Gaining new substances, with the exception of foods, make her sick, inhibiting her fighting ability and even her quirk for a varied amount of time dependant on the substance.
She still has to breath, so she cant fire substances out back to back as she has to breath in between or after to some degree or she could risk getting light headed or passing out.
Using her quirk for prolonged periods of time will eventually cause abrasive damage to her throat, making it painful to use her quirk, regardless of the substance she is creating.
She cannot change the heat of substances above body temperature, unless the temperature of the substance was higher when she ingested it.

Hero Costume: Her hero costume consists of a light bodysuit with matching sturdy boots, black cargo trousers, black gloves, and a pair of protective googles. She has multiple water containers strapped to her costume, including six water bottles of each leg, a flask on each boot and a large water container strapped to her back, with an attached drinking tube.
Her costume is desgined to be flexible and light, considering that she has to carry several litres of water to feed her quirk, the lighter the rest of her costume the better.
The goggles are to protect against the more dangerous substances such as chemicals, acids, fires and dusts.

Family: Her father is pro hero 'Respirator', a hero who produces organic liquids and gases from his lungs and pores.
Her mother works for a form of recruiting agency, mainly for sidekicks, and is involved with pro and want to be heros on an almost daily basis. Her quirk is immunity to acids and heat.
She is close with her father, but due to him being a pro hero she doesnt get to spend a lot of time with him. He is also highly protective of her due to an incident that happened when she was younger. Without intending to hurt her he tends to baby her more than he should, and often comes across as not believing in her when he does things for her than she could easily do herself. He even attempted to disuade her from attending UA when he found out she had been accepted due to hero work being -dangerous- and that she could get hurt just from training to become a hero. This creates some strain on their relationship as she just wants to be recognized within her own family as being just as capable as they are.
Her relationship with her mother is normal but she works more than her father does, and her job can take her anywhere and everywhere so she sees her less than she shess her pro hero father. Her mother is very supportive of Rurikos descion to be a hero and was very supportive and encouranging when she wanted to get into UA and continued to be so when she was accepted. She doesnt baby her as much as Rurikos father does but she also doesnt congradualte or give recognition to her strengths as much as Ruriko would like her to mostly due to being so involved in her work most of the time to truely realise that her daughter is strong and capable.

Appearance: She has light ginger hair that is cut in straight bangs and cut longer in the front, with two pieces of hair that stick out on the side of her head. She has dark pink eyes, light pink cheeks and pale skin. Due to her quirk it is not uncomman for her jaw to have small bruises and her lips to be dry or chapped.
She has large scar across her back from an event when she was younger.
