Description
So, hes technically not a 'new' oc but I had only even drawn him as a Genin and he wasnt really an actual oc, more of a side character to another oc of mine, Shiori Inuzuka. But since Ive created another new oc, Jin Nishihara, and used him in her story as a more main character, I decided I should give him a full body and profile, look at him rocking those skinny legs aha, anyway here goes!

Background:
Ryouta had a relatively troubled childhood. Both of his parents were rarely around at the same time, and they would sometimes fight as his mother was restless since she had to give up her shinobi lifestyle to raise Ryouta, and was envious that her husband got to continue, sometimes feeling like he had left her to foot the bill of raising their son.
When he was seven, she died suddenly in the middle of the night. His father didnt return home until the next morning and found Ryouta curled up next to his dead mother. Ryouta was resentful towards his father for the following months, telling him all of the things he had heard his mother say about her feelings, like how she felt left-behind, that she just wanted to be allowed to go on one mission and have him take care of Ryouta. His father took on fewer missions after this, and spent more time with Ryouta.
He grew very close to his father before he took his own life when Ryouta was nine due to feelings of deep regret and a deep depression he had fallen into and had never got out of. He left a letter to Ryouta telling him to be 'better than he was, to be the shinobi he never could be'. Ryouta had torn this letter up from anger and sadness after the reality of the situation hit him. The letter has since been taped up and hangs on his wall as a constant reminder and source of determination to him.

He took the remaining years of the academy very seriously and graduated top of the class, with perfect grades. He was assigned to a three man team with Taichi Hayashi, Shiori Inuzuka and Sensei Katsu Yamanaka. He was the instant leader/top dog of the team, being the best in the team and showing natural leadership.
He achieved Chunin rank during the first Tournament, although during the second stage his team was attacked and he was knocked unconscious, his teammate Shiori being the one who got them through the second stage. Not long after the Chunin exams, he confronted Shiori, as he had suspicions that she couldnt see very well. His suspicions were right and he berated her, telling her she would never be a true shinobi if she couldnt see perfectly. This deeply hurt her and she left the village soon after in search of something.
Although he never admitted it out loud, he regretted what he said after he heard she had disappeared.

He was assigned to be Jins partner when he had turned 14, after Shiori left the village and caused his previous team to disbanded and be reassigned. He was reluctant with her at first, but Jins positive energy and friendliness got through to him and the two connected. They trained together for a few days to learn each others styles and they found they worked extremely well with each other. He was able to cover her weak spots and she could cover his and they were a strong pair.
Also, due to Jins muscle weakening illness, he often had to find a way to get her out of a situation or carry her home.
Ryouta is critical towards Jin because of her illness, but he often stops himself as he remembers what his words did to Shiori, although Jin never seems to take him seriously when he says things like that.
Its thanks to Jins encouragement that when hes 17 he starts to make an attempt to connect with Kakashi who is the closest thing to a relative and they never talked or attempted to get along before despite both for them knowing their relation. He thanks Jin for her efforts as after this, Kakashi and him have a somewhat friendly connection to each other that they dont see after student/teacher, although they are far from close family.

Ryouta and Jin dont get sent out on a lot of missions due to Jin seeming to attract danger, so most of the time Ryouta preforms small A rank solo missions that the genin teams dont take. Jin and him still get sent out on a lot of missions together though, usually c-rank, but these seem to always turn to D-ranks. But they are both very capable of this mission rank, most of the time.
When Ryouta finds out Jin has romantic feelings for an enemy, Ryouta becomes quickly conflicted, wondering if he should report her to the village for fraternizing, but after he notices that this hurts Jin, he rethinks, and decides that he can sway his loyalty to the village for his friendship with her and assures her he wont tell anyone, but that he doesnt agree with it hes only giving her support in whatever she chooses next.
He accompanies her to one of her meetings with this man. Just to make sure she is safe, and absolutely sure this is what she wants.

Additional Notes:
-Ryouta expels concentrated chakra through his gloved left hand, the glove allows him to use his full potential on certain jutsus as it prevents his hand from getting damaged or burnt badly. He can also use it to block other jutsu and catch punches.
-His main weapon is a long steel-threaded rope that he can manipulate through his own skill and his lightning chakra. He often uses the rope to pull Jin away from attacks or battles if he thinks she is in danger. The rope has snake-like movements when he uses his chakra through it, this also means it delivers an electric shock to the enemy when touched.
-He is very strict on the way of the ninja, and what it means, or should mean to be a shinobi. He often clashes with people over his opinions.
-Ryouta sometimes misses his old teammate, Shiori, and wishes to apologize to her, but it also concerned that he hurt her too badly so he decides to stay away from her.
-Jin is like a younger sister to him, despite her being the oldest. He gets on well with her and he is very protective of her
-Kakashi and Ryouta are related, they share the same Great Grandfather as their fathers were cousins. They arent very close, but Ryouta attempts to connect with Kakashi later on after encouragement from Jin.
-Ryouta was a straight A student, and will settle for nothing less that perfection. Sometimes he can spend hours training to get something just right.
-He doesnt believe in love at first sight.
-Ryouta constantly asks to be considered for a Jonin rank, believing he displays skills above Chunin level. He is correct but he is yet to achieve the formal title.
-Ryouta is tone deaf. Only a select few know this and is the reason he was paired with Jin as her chakra vibrates in a certain way, but because he is tone deaf he cant hear it like others can so he isnt affected
