Description
A few drops rendered in the new 3Ds Max Apocalypse Edition (i.e.: 2012) and a brand new Mental Ray 3.9 which pretty much seems to do everything the same as the older versions as far as I'm concerned.

Clicking download will provide you with various sizes of the wallpaper + uncompressed PNG (1920x1200)

Some Technical Details:

I'm pretty much done with the L_Glass shader and have moved on to the much more reliable arch_mat (if you use maya that's mia_material for you). There is an outer shell and an inner shell. The inner shell actually emits light (These are in fact the only source of enlightenment), similarly to those glow tubes you see passed around in those raggedy night clubs. Two giant white cubes used only for reflection purposes. Final Gather is quite precise and is also quite bouncy. Finally some colour correction done in our favourite software -that no one here really pays for- photoshop CS5.
