Description
Graphite assignment for 'Drawing from the Flat', a course where we copy Bargue's master drawings. 10+ Hours.I did NOT draw the original, this is a direct copy of a print from a very old etching. Using these plates for teaching was done in French art academies in the 1800s, thats why I do it.
The detail is better on the original, but alas it was too big to scan without possibly dimpling the paper.

I know, its a tragedy! But theres a bright side, the teachers still teach privately around They can take the building but they can't take the knowledge!
