Voyage Log:

The Eagle has landed!

  This is it. After a LONG journey, we've finally arrived at Sargardene Penhan B, codename: Planet Tala. NASA discovered this planet a few years back which they believe had an atmosphere just like Earth. They made a mission to send me and my robot companion, E.V.A (Exploration, Versatile, Assault) to explore this new world.

  As I crawled out of the lander, a warm beam of light welcomed me. The sky filled with glimmering stars and planets gave me memories of the time I spent with my friends, watching the starry night sky back on Earth.

  Clouds were present too, in various forms. I checked the screen attached to my arm for the air quality.

  Oxygen: 20.5%
  Nitrogen: 76%
  Carbon Dioxide: 14%

  Well, that's a first. The Oxygen levels are perfect (hint: we need 21% of those lovable Os to survive. Anywhere low or high of that percent is poison) Nitrogen too, so nice to have that. One problem: Carbon dioxide. It's too extreme for life to live here. That could be caused by volcanoes erupting millions of years ago. So yeah, NASA's gonna really pissed.

  But those clouds seemed fascinating. Could it mean... water was present? No... it can't be. They never told us anything about that. I went back to the Eagle, trying to contact Space Control in Houston.

"Houston, do you copy?" I said.

  No answer...

"Houston, are you there?? This is the Eagle."

  Still no answer. Damn it. The main satellite dish must've been damaged when we approached this planet through the damn asteroid belt. Fixing it would require me and Eva. Speaking of that, I got to wake her from hibernation.
