Description
Table Mountain, Bloubergstrand, Cape Town, South Africa.I'm not entirely happy with this shot, but I'm putting it up anyway, let me know what you think.
EDIT: Fixed the horizon, silly me, I didn't even notice!
EDIT #2: Cropped the image a bit so the mountain wasnt in the exact centre of the image, adjusted curves a bit.

Although I'm a firm Gautenger, I've always felt a love for Cape Town, and no one can deny it's among the most beautiful places on earth. Table Mountain itself is a wonder to behold, and my feelings about it are perhaps best demonstrated by the fact that I have a large poster of it hanging in my room.
You've captured that feel quite well in this piece. I particularly love the depth of the colours. Keep it up!

The pic is very cool and nice colored (I adore blue and white), but that border doesn't fit. It's too wide and takes away the power that pic has. Sad. Otherwise this would have been .

nice! i really like it, wish i could go to south africa once in my life... but well, i'm always broke so i dont think it'll ever happen
maybe you can make the border a bit bigger, think that would make the picture come out a bit more. but for the rest... i like it
thanks a lot for your nice comment by the way!

I think I have seen pictures like this a thousand times before BUT somehow this one is different. Nice one. great balance all round. Too many people try to make TM the main attraction of the picture and forget to compose the shot better. you did some great composition there with the rocks and OBVIOUSLY it was ANOTHER great day in sunny CT!

aaaah home! heheh, beautiful shot, great composition. i agree with 13-days on the foreground thing... it really works, and just adds something extra into the picture, i.e not all blues... great colours, i don't really feel there is that much wrong with this photo. its really great, which side of cape town did you take it from??

This I took from Bloubergstrand, a 5 minute walk from where my mother lives. Bloubergstrand has always given the best views of the mountain
