I have taken on the, seemingly daunting, task of attempting Inktober! I've decided that I want to do OctPoWriMo, as well as get back into the groove of drawing. My solution is to compose a poem, then illustrate said poem. I know it's not the traditional Inktober deal, and I'm not sure if I'm allowed to call it an Inktober challenge or not, but I *am* using ink, on a drawing, daily, for the month of October.
The prompts I used were 'Shining your light' from www.octpowrimo.com/ , and 'Seed' from aplineayita's Inktober prompt list on Instagram.
The poem is a bit telling of my mental health of late, but hey, it is what it is. Last few months haven't been great.
Drawn with pencil and Derwent Inktense on October 1st, 2020.
(I don't know how to explain my setup for the ink, but if anyone's interested, I can do a post about it.)
