Nice colour separation! Something oddly childlike about the rendering, which of course has its own charm. The white figures seem to possess an almost priest- or even angel-like quality - quite mesmerising

you know when you said child like i was quite discombobulated but i have looked at it for a bit now and get the same feeling, maybe its because im trying to see it.

Yes, it was my intention to distinguish between "childlike" and "childish" - with the former, I was meaning a kind of sketchy primitivism in the style of the render and perhaps the placement of the white motifs. It was certainly not intended to carry any negative connotations

I don't think I've ever quite seen anything like it. The flame is amazing, and I like the subtle permutations of the basic shape throughout the image.

well what happened here is that he sent me a fractal he had in his scraps/works in progress and i continued on it. you can go back and forth with the parameters untill you both get a piece to your liking.
