Here is my drawing and vector of TFP Megatron. He is one of my all-time favorite cartoon villains. Voiced by Frank Welker, Megatron was the main antagonist of the TV show Transformers: Prime. He is the tyrannical warlord of the Decepitcons who was a former miner, a former slave, a former gladiator and the archenemy and former mentor figure/former brother-in-arms of Optimus Prime.

In my Orionverse of the Aligned Continuity of Transformers, Megatron is portrayed as a fallen hero turned to the dark side, a sympathetic villain, a reformed villain, an anti-hero, an overprotective father, a loving husband, and as one of the main supporting characters. Similar to his IDW counterpart, Megatron is reformed but the difference is, he doesn't become an Autobot but rather a Neutral as he removed his Decepticon insignia and became an Ex-Decepticon. After the events of TFP: Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising, Megatron put himself into self-exile but not before he went to find Shockwave and requested him to remove the battle armor that Unicron gave him when he revived him and restore him back to his original appearance. After Shockwave removed the battle armor, Megatron declared that the Decepticons are no more before he went into self-exile as Shockwave resented his former master for disbanding the Decepticons.

Five years later, the main antagonist in my TFP fanfic, Doomsayer would take over as the new leader of the Decepticons and become the founder of his own group of Decepticons known as the New Decepticons (who would later be renamed the Destructicons). During his self-exile, Megatron became a drifter and a loner who traveled to alien worlds across the galaxy to find his purpose in life. Eventually Megatron went into a World Sweeper where he killed off Sixshot and his entire crew when they thought that he was an imposter before Megatron stayed in that ship to rest in the dark until he would later be found and then reunited with his long-lost biological son, Orion Eclipse, who is my OC and who was the main protagonist of my fanfic sequel to Predacons Rising, "TFP: The New Beginning". Megatron agreed to help his son and his former enemies, the Autobots, put a stop to Doomsayer's evil plans to find Unicron and his Anti-Spark so that he can revive him at the Earth's core and help him destroy Primus which would result in the destruction and deaths of both Earth and Cybertron.

Megatron would eventually be reunited with his long-lost conjunx-endura, Firestar (who renamed herself "Novastar" when she moved in with Lazerdrive and the Survivors after she was presumed dead after Doomsayer abducted her, killed off a clone of herself to fake her death and then left her for dead on the planet Junkion before she would be saved by Wreck-Gar and the Junkions), then he would be reunited with Optimus Prime when he returned from the Allspark to help the main characters defeat Doomsayer and Unicron to save Earth and Cybertron. Megatron would team up with Optimus Prime, Orion Eclipse, and Bumblebee to defeat Doomsayer when he took the form of Galvatron and when Primus has defeated Unicron once and for all, Megatron's spark was no longer connected to Unicron's Anti-Spark and he nearly died in his son's arms.

When Primus brought Megatron back to life to give him a second chance, Megatron let Orion Eclipse succeed him as the new leader of the Decepticons while he decided to go to Earth to live in a place for him to retire called "The Terrestrial Valley" while Orion Eclipse and Altair Comet rule the Autobots and Decepticons while sparking a new Golden Age on Cybertron where Autobots and Decepticons are at peace with each other. In "TFP: The Legacy of Optimus Prime", which takes place after the events of "TFP: The New Beginning", Megatron still lives in The Terrestrial Valley on Earth but will go to Cybertron to visit his son, Orion Eclipse and daughter-in-law, Altair Comet. Megatron and Novastar would eventually become grandparents before Megatron would later get married to June Darby and have her as a second wife, then he would find his long-lost parents on a desert planet, meet his long-lost daughter, Vespera, and help Optimus Prime and Bumblebee/Hivemus Prime defeat his former master and namesake, Megatronus Prime/The Fallen.
