Wanted something to do with Shadow being pissed off that he's not a playable character in Smash Bros. 4, now I'm just waiting for his half. So even though he's not playable in Smash Bros. 4, he should be happy that he finally got a sequel to his own game.

If they make Sonic a series regular in Smash Bros. just like Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, Captain Falcon, Marth, etcetera, maybe next game, Shadow. Key word being "maybe".

Yeah. It'll never happen. One 3rd party per company. If Sonic gets in, no other Sega characters can be in the roster. Shadow should be grateful he's still in SSB but IMO Shadow shouldn't give a damn about a crossover. I'm not trying to be a dick but Shadow wouldn't really care about him being in some fighting game. But it's still humorous to see!

Well, it's uncertain in my point of view. I loved Snake in Brawl. He was a cool and unexpected addition despite me sucking ass with him. But despite him starting the trend of 3rd party fighters in SSB, it kinda looks like he won't return. Sakurai stated that adding more 3rd party fighters in SSB would lose the purpose of SSB, a Nintendo party-fighter. The reason why Snake got in was due to his creator asking Sakurai to let him in and Kojima hasn't said anything about Snake in SSB4. If they decide to include a 4th 3rd party fighter, it's likely to be Rayman.

Knowing Sakurai, it's probably something to throw us off about his trueΒ purpose in SSB. He may be something more than a simple trophy...

I have theorized that maybe he's an assist trophy, but even then it's a waste of potential.
