Description Everyone has still been alone and separated since the attack, some of them have been staying at home, some of them haven't step foot inside of a building at all. It has been a month since all five friends got attacked by an unknown enemy. The ones who haven't step foot inside a building was Cameron and Haneul. Cameron has been releasing anger at every little thing such as trees. Haneul has been running away from everything that scared him. It's been unknown if they had a proper meal or a decent time to sleep since they had been attacked. But a month without either is terrible for their health. But they have been staying in the same area of where they have been spending their winter break. Kabocha, Terensu, and Aoi are in their house, but staying separate from each other. Neither of them have talked for a month, but Aoi is the loudest by complaining and bringing himself down. He continues to sing, but the songs have more negative meaning than his normal random songs that made no sense.

Kabocha has been careless about most of the things she says and does now. She could care less about the people around her, and she doesn't do as much help as before. Not is it only effecting the people around her, but it's also effecting herself. She could care less about the things she does.

Kabocha was lying on her bed, facing the ceiling and thinking to herself. Her eyes wandered around the room to find at least one interesting thing. Her eyes locked on some papers folded up on her bookshelf, wondering what they were. She got up and walked over to her bookshelf, picking up the papers her eye caught. The first one Kabocha read was written on red paper. She saw that it was from Aoi, saying that he appreciates her care and comfort. Kabocha folded it back up and read the next note in the stack. The note was from Andrew, one of the first notes he has written to her, saying that he is proud of her for overcoming a struggle and her strength made him happy. She went through all the notes she saved, most of them are from Aoi and Andrew, some others are from Terensu. All the notes say basically the same ting, thanking her for caring and encouraging them. Kabocha tried to think back to those events to remember if she really did all of those things to them. As those memories came to her, she started to noticed how her character was and how she acted towards her friends. She began to realize that how she acted for the past month is completely opposite of how she treated her friends, and snapped out of her negative personality. She couldn't believe that all the information that Terensu told her about were true.

Kabocha set the papers back on the bookshelf and ran out of her room. She didn't bother Aoi just yet and went to Terensu to talk about it.

"Terensu, you're right! We all have been changed based on the information you told us!"

"The light thing and being controlled? I don't believe it at all." Terensu still has been dishonest.

Kabocha remembered that Terensu is still going to lie about everything that anyone has spoken about. She knows that Aoi would be too upset to listen to her. But she has to find a way to make her friends realize that they are not acting like what they normally do. Kabocha decided to go to Haneul or Cameron to see if any of them snapped out of it. What she doesn't know is that they could be anywhere, not at their homes.

She ran around for a while after finding out that nobody answered the door to their homes. She hoped that, at least the way Cameron is acting, that he hasn't been too harsh or killed anyone. She would have no idea what Haneul could be doing at this moment. Kabocha lost her track of thought when someone ran past by her quickly. She looked ahead to see that it was Cameron, who is running off, but doesn't know for what reason.

"Cameron!" Kabocha tried to call out, but he was already long gone.

Kabocha stopped running to catch her breath. The coolness of the air felt nice against her face after from so much running around. For a moment she thought about chasing after Cameron, but with his type of speed, it would be hard to get caught up.

"Hey." a whispering voice said. "Kabocha..."

Kabocha looked around, but saw no one. She thought that she was just hearing things, but walked towards where she thought she heard the voice, just to be sure.

"Kabocha...behind the trees..." the whispering voice spoke again.

Confused and scared, Kabocha went through the trees to find who's speaking. On the other side, there was no one. Kabocha thought of two things: one, she's being paranoid, or two, there is an enemy trying to trap her.

"Under the tree on your left..." the voice spoke.

Kabocha turned to her left, seeing Haneul under the tree. He looks really scared, possibly hiding from Cameron. Kabocha came near Haneul and sat next to him.

"What are you doing?"

"Shh..." Haneul panicked. "I don't want Cameron to know I'm here...or anything else for that matter..."

"You can't be scared. To be honest, you're really not scared, you're being controlled to think tht you are scared." Kabocha said.

"What do you mean?" Haneul was confused.

"Something controlled us, including me and you. Now, it seems I'm the only one cured from it. You think you're scared of everything, but you're not." Kabocha tried to save loads of explaining.

"I don't know if I believe that...I was scared my whole life..."

Kabocha tried to come up with a way to stop Haneul from thinking he's scared. The only situation she can up with was about his sister, Saja. Kabocha told the story about what Haneul told his friends a while ago. During the whole story, Haneul was frieghtened and made little whiny noises to show he was scared. Kabocha told Haneul to listen to this last part of the story. She concluded y telling him that he overcame his fear after Saja passed on. Haneul actually started to use his magic for fighting instead of defending himself. He started to show his strong points, getting back in to battles after getting hit, and many more. Haneul tried to remember the situations Kabocha explained. Kabocha tried to come up with more things to make him himself again.

"You have nothing to be afraid of, Haneul. Nothing is out to get you. Not everything is scary. It will all be okay, I promise."

Haneul eventually snapped out of it, but he didn't say anything. Kabocha noticed that he is not acting scared anymore, asking if he's okay now. Haneul nodded, but didn't want to speak because he has been making a fool out of himself for a month. Kabocha quickly encouraged Haneul that it was him being controlled that made him a fool, but also said that they need to find Cameron before he hurts someone. They both got back to the road and started to search for Cameron, in hopes that he hasn't destroyed anything. But with his type of speed, Cameron could be anywhere, and he could be hard to catch up with.
