Description Countdown: Day 10

Kabocha didn't want to encounter Andrew if she's going to keep saying the same answer everyday. Kabocha also happens to be in the same negative state of mind, even her brother and Aoi notices. Each time they ask Kabocha what's wrong, her response is 'I don't know.' She even has been speaking negatively without knowing about it. She broke down and decided to go meet Andrew. When she walked out of the house, just looking at the end of the street, she saw him standing there, like he knew she would be coming outside at that time. Kabocha took her time getting there since she really doesn't want to deal with it.

"Kabocha." Andrew said lifelessly. "Did you do it yet?"

"No. And I'll continue to refuse. So you might as well kill me now." Kabocha said what's on her heart.

Andrew's mind and feelings changed to his normal state when Kabocha told him to kill her. He felt bad and didn't know how to respond to her. Kabocha looked angry and started to speak again.

"I miss how you used to be, Andrew. I want the old you back. The one that is kind, generous, compassionate and understanding. I want that back."

Then Kabocha told a story of one of their past times as friends.

One day, Kabocha, back in early junior year when she was sixteen and still depressed, went to the area in the woods. To her surprise, Andrew was already there. He got up and met where Kabocha was standing. At this time, they were really good friends and Kabocha can talk to him without a problem. Kabocha had the biggest smile on her face now than the whole day.

"How are you feeling?" Andrew asked.

"I'm neutral, thank you." Kabocha responded.

The two talked for a bit, just the basics on how the day went and how was school. Kabocha then hugged Andrew out of no where, but he doesn't mind. When Kabocha let go, Andrew held his hand out. Kabocha had a confused look on her face. Andrew grab her hand and pulled her in. He told her to starte spinning when he lets her go. Andrew pushed outward and Kabocha spinned.

"Keep going. Just go with it." Andrew encouraged Kabocha to go on.

The two friends danced with one another for a few moments. It was like two little children doing a tango for the first time. The two laughed at each other for their bad dance moves. After one last spin, Andrew pulled Kabocha closely and they both continued to laugh. Eventually, it turned in to a slow dance, and they stayed dancing for about five minutes. This is one of the most fun days Kabocha had during her depression.

"If you don't remember that and how happy it made me..." Kabocha said after telling her story. "I don't think you'll understand anything at all. Again, take my life. Aoi is mine and forever will be mine."

"Je ne comprends pas...." Andrew said, then fleed from Kabocha gain.

Kabocha grew frustrated at how her friend left. She has a feeling that this will happen for the next nine days they will meet. Kabocha started to walk home, hoping that she'll encounter Andrew again and to talk sense into that boy.
