Description Many times for the past few months, Kabocha has been mentioning a friend of hers who no one really knows or seen, except for her brother. Kabocha has always mentioned the importance of this friend and how special he is to her. This friend that Kabocha admires is Andrew. They met in their freshmen year of high school, and has been close ever since. Their friendship is indescribable and it's amazing to have as Kabocha's first friend.

Kabocha never explained Andrew's personality or his appearance to her friends before, at least to Aoi since he's the only one who has never seen him before. Andrew's appearance can be described as looking smart(in a good way, for intelligence). He has brown eyes, brown curly hair, wears the same style of clothes which consists of a t-shirt and jeans, maybe a hoodie too if it's cold. His 'intelligent' appearance comes from his thick, black-rimed glasses, but Kabocha would also describe them as 'adorable.' In her point of view, Andrew's personality is generous, kind, gentle, humorous, and caring. His appearance, nor his speech, would never match up his personality, which was surprising to Kabocha for a while at first, thinking it was impossible that one can sound and look so smart, but be so nice. But after getting to know each other, as already stated, they grew close in a matter of a few days.

December 2012

It was a nice and sunny day, and quite warm as well for it being winter break. Though, at the moment, Andrew stayed inside to think about when he could see Kabocha again. They both sure have kept their distance since graduation, though they did hang out one time earlier this month. The way that Andrew feels when he almost never sees Kabocha as often anymore, it's beyond explanation. He misses her smile and laughter and how they used to spend time together everyday.

Their friendship started in their freshmen year, they hard the same math class together. The class was doing their in-class work, everyone talking to their friends and working on their work together. Andrew, as one of the smartest people in the class, finish his class work earlier than the majority of his classmates. He was looking around to hopefully find anything interesting or entertaining to do. When his eyes spotted Kabocha, he saw that she didn't seem right. Kabocha was looking down at her desk, sighing constantly and she looks like she was about to crack.

Curious, Andrew wanted to know what was going on. He took some paper from his notebook, wrote on it and lightly tossed it to Kabocha's desk. The flying paper scared Kabocha since she was in deep thought. She read the note, and seemed to have a surprised look on her face. Kabocha wrote on the note and gave it back to Andrew. When Andrew read it, the reply to his question was 'yes.' He wrote on it again and tossed it back to Kabocha. When Kabocha read it, it said 'Do you want to talk about it?,' which greatly surprised her. She turned to look at Andrew, who was looking at her. When they made contact, he waved to her to be nice. Kabocha turned back around, thinking how can she tell a person she barely knows the situation she is going through. Having doubts, she wrote the location where she hangs out after school and gave it to Andrew.

Later that same day, Kabocha was at the location, the area in the woods with the cliff and the river at the bottom. She stayed there a little longer than normal just in case Andrew does come. Just when she started to doubt, Andrew came a long just in time. It took a while for Kabocha to speak up, but she eventually opened up to Andrew, but slowly. Eventually, it got somewhere and Kabocha appreciated it.

Andrew looked out the window, but noticed something is different. There was a black looking cloud blocking his view. At first, Andrew thought it was his eye sight, but the cloud made a loud screech noise. Andrew stood up and backed away from the window. The black cloud moved around slowly, then attacked him in the speed of light. He didn't have the time to react or do anything about it, for the cloud grew largely to distract him, then it quickly entered his body. Andrew couldn't breath, and the last thing he remembered was blacking out and hitting the ground.
