Well this is it, ahaha my version of Fatal Frame 5-Infernal Flare.kind of big.
-Conceptualizing Process: 27 days
Researched: Shinto Religion, practices, shrines, and others.
-Drawing Process: 3 days
Setting:
The place is somewhere in japan, being one the most volcano populated country, the setting is that of a extinct volcano crater and its surrounding area. There existed a civilization that took part in dark shinto rituals, that later vanished due to the volcano's eruption. some of the remains of the long vanished village, is mysteriously still there.
Plot:
In this Installment, unlike the previous fatal frame. The secret about the history of the camera obscura is unveiled. This is where Dr. Kunihiko Asou, had the idea of creating the camera obscura.
Character:
the character is new, and since i wanted this fatal frame to tie up all the loose ends, all characters will be in this game, in some way or the other. and due to the deadline i couldn't pull it off.
Antagonist:
The Antagonist is always a failed ritual-ed maiden so i wanted to do the same. With participating with a ritual, something went wrong and yes she comes back to haunt you-as always ahaha. The ritual is uhm.. be creative guys i'll give a hint, the shrine is at a volcano crater. ahaha
i wish i could have drawn the main enemy though... aww
i dont want to get too deep to the plot since IT IS very broad, i'll let you guys think about it.

You should use Mount Osore as your volcano... its supposed to be the mouth of hell anyways. Though I don't think all the other characters should be included, the idea of the game (including the shaeiki and failed ritual for the gate of hell) is enough. Especially since there are so many characters now. When is this story supposed to take place in relation to the other games?

actually i myself didnt like the idea of putting the previous characters in the plot. but i want to at least include them in notes or something-i want some presence

i found the info on a fatal frame site just a few days ago actually. the best sites i've found are beyond the cameras lens and the wikipedia page affiliated with it called ZeroWiki. just go to www.cameraslens.com and click the "wiki" button on the navigation bar. there are also forums on cameraslens too if you have anymore questions im sure they can answer them. what is this concept for exactly?

Oh i know that site, and yes that's also where i go to get infos about fatal frames. I couldn't make the story more detailed because of the deadline and it's also too much of a hassle.

agreed. thats one reason i dont try to enter contests. i'm always so busy with school and such. i bet it would be a fun side project to do though, just making a bunch of concept art for a random made-up game

Awesome Mendics. I really like the...thing above the stairs...although i can't really tell if its a shrine or a doorway. Either way it looks cool.
