NAME: Razzmatazz (Razzle)
GENDER: male
SPECIES: Fever dream creature
No one, including Razzle himself, knows where he came from. He spends most of his time traveling the world of dreams and minds and destroying nightmares and fears. To do this, he uses a wide arsenal of abilities, choosing a strategy for each enemy, depending on their weaknesses. He can be in the real world too, but he rarely lingers there for more than a couple of hours.
Differs in energetic and chaotic behavior, although he is very modest in the company of others. He is friendly and polite (and very shy, he blushes from even a small compliment), very assertive and brave, rarely gives up. Prefers loneliness and avoids contact (although he is a little more open in the mental world with figments of the imagination, he still tries not to start conversations unnecessarily). This is also expressed in the fact that he refuses take help even when he really needs it (he will not go to ask for help until he is convinced that there really is absolutely no way to do it alone).
Spends 90% of his time in other's dreams, minds and in the collective unconscious, easily moves between them and is well oriented in mental space, even in the changing and unnatural gravity, non-Euclidean space and other wild manifestations of minds. He also explores the shaky, foggy dark corners of the collective unconscious, where even other mental beings are afraid to enter.
ABILITIES
Has two types of psychic abilities - permanent and "bond" abilities
Permanent abilities are ones he can use at any time and without restrictions - these are astral projection (penetration into someone else's mind or sleep), telepathy and slight levitation.
"Bond" abilities are a set of psychic abilities that he can use only after he "charges" and "attaches" them to himself for a time, after which he cannot use them more (need to wait for cooldown before the ability can be attached again). He can attach one ability at time. Of the available bond abilities, he has: clairvoyance (to see through the eyes of others), telekinesis, pyrokinesis, changing other people's emotions, shield, invisibility, psychic impulse / explosion, creating of his simplier\smaller copy (rarely used since can be used only once before going into looong cooldown).
TRIVIA
- He has no blood, when he is wounded, wounds have the texture of television static (as are his scars and a "portal" on his chest).
- The chest portal is used as entry to pocket dimension, and Razzle stores some items there. If you peer into static for a long time, you can see faint, illegible silhouettes for a moment. Overall, though, looking at static for a long time is likely to give you a headache. Don't look at static
- Can pick up different signals with antennas. It can be both television channels and radio broadcasts, and other people's thoughts and things that defy explanation. He uses this to catch "nightmares signals" and locate restless dreams. He himself likes to listen to УВБ-76 radio (says it calms him down).
- He keeps pieces of nightmares, dreams and minds of others in his backpack. If he finds in someone's mind or dream a thing that seemed interesting or useful to him, he can take it with him to use it later, even in other mind\dream (these are always insignificant things for the mind that do not affect the personality). Pieces of Nightmares can be used for passive defense - they listen to Razzle and protect his back (they look like a bunch of different limbs), on rare occasions he uses them like normal hands (although he still prefers telekinesis for this purpose). His backpack can hold an almost infinite number of things and he usually pulls them out through a portal in his chest
- The hatch on his forehead can open and leads to his brain. The brain can be pulled out, but his body will fall unconscious and remain so until the brain is returned to the head. However, Razzle retains some self-awareness as a separate brain, and can use some of his abilities (usually using telekinesis to return to his body). Razzle also has a unpleasant reflex to throw his brain out if he's really scared (usually with a loud unexpected noise or something like that)
- Loves to sing, but his songs always sound like music from an old music box
