isnt...cortisol chemical related to stress? How you doing? This image disturbs me greatly. Specifically the LARGE tooth glaring at me from afar. Good work.

Cortisol "dumps" in the body system are commonly associated with, for instance, driving to work... hence the two peeps on their way there in this pic...

It is rather contorted... and yes that's what cortisol does to the body... lol it probably wouldn't enlarge teeth that much but who knows... stress affects all our genes in different ways...

One interesting thing about this Drawing... : The little squiggles coming out of the Man's cell phone arrived on the page before everything else, as those little ink blots from where you test your pen's tip...

Wonderful as always. Did I mention how much I love the way you draw joints? They're crazy warped, but more anatomically correct then loads of other renderings I've seen.

Why thank you, Mell... an interesting and specific criticism... I suppose that's in keeping as I'm a pianist...

Nah, criticism would be if I thought something could be made better, or should be changed. I like the way you draw joints. It's interesting, hope you keep that style and yeah, I suppose there's always a bit of self reference when it comes to art involving the human form.

ah, Mel... you are wise. Were only a tithe of your wisdom in each of our hearts, this would be a utopia...

Well what a comment to break the silence! People have been a bit more reticent on dA of late it seems... perhaps it's the everchanging, progressively more ad-riddled layout?

You're very perceptive and describe this almost as I would describe it myself. As a matter of fact, I think people DO look like this in some ways, in that hyper-reality of a nearby dimension.

Beautiful, yet creepy & weird, are probably 3 of the most common adjectives describing this style... I find passion and humor in it as well : )

Thank you to my newest fan,
*blows a kiss*

I'm amazed this hasn't gotten any comments - this is incredible!

I don't even know where to start; just everything about it draws me in. It's such a creepy and weird image, but there's something so comical about it. The style itself reminds me of the cartoons from Monty Python, but with a more distinct sense of realism. Somehow, I find myself feeling like I'm actually looking into another dimension - like somewhere in the universe, there is a place where people actually look like this. There is something to this piece that makes it seem incredibly real to me... at least, as real as caricatures can appear to someone, haha.

This, to me, is beautiful. And whether that's because my sense of beauty is warped, or because I'm seeing something beyond the image itself, I simply love it. This is the kind of art I'd like to do.

You've just gained a fan, definitely.
