thanks Lyla! it was a good light for photo's that's the big house or the bishops palace that was used by the bishops of Caithness and Sutherland in medieval times ...recently restored 4 yrs ago and now rentable at Β£1,800 per week or was it Β£2,300 fine for lots of people but not a nice place for a home really my fathers house is much nicer also a historic building

I think the big house at the beach used to have a tunnel that connected it to the ruined church but it was filled in at least 100 yrs. ago being a dangerous route under the stream Β  ... not my fathers place though ... that was the ministers manse for the church also a working farm from 1727 when the first part was built ... then the other church built another manse at the other end of the village sometime Β later so in 1815 another addition was built onto my fathers place to make it bigger than the opposition churches manse bla bla so no dungeons! not sure about the little anythings at all m'lady lets raid the fridge!
