Description
An ink drawing of the Norse goddess Freyja in her war chariot, drawn by two giant cats. Again, there are two of my cats used as models for the giant ones. While Freyja more commonly is depicted in her aspect of Goddess of Love, mine is the Vanadis or Val-Freyja, the Goddess of War who receives her share from the Einherjer, the battle-slain brought to Valhalla by Wotan's/Odin's Valkyries.Related content

Excellent in every detail! I think you nailed the cats better than any other image I've seen and again, the face is masterfully done, her face shows a mix of concentration with ownership of the situation and determined to follow through. Very well done indeed!

Wo~w, fantastic artwork there! Your technique is flawless, especially in the mix of what reminds me of 80s/90s comic books for Freyja and almost classic linework for the background. I'm also very fond of less "popular" or widely known aspects of mythological characters being depicted. And a chariot drawn by cats? Hell yeah!

Mythology mentions cats drawing Freyja's chariot. I think tigers don't apply, so I imagined my Maine-Coons in harness.Had to enlarge them in the picture though, even Maine-Coons aren't THAT big
