This picture shows the middle part of my contribution to 2020's October Instagram challenge, #futharktober
The challenge was to artistically depict the Germanic Futhark, the elder runes, initiated by Jonas Lau Markussen. Considering the short time to start I decided on black & white photography, as I had taken photos for years while on the trail with runic themes in mind.
The Germanic Runes are comprised of 24 signs set into three Aetts of 8 runes each. This is the second one.
I am considering a publication of some kind at the moment, as I have been working with runes for some years now.
