The stage lights have been lowered to the stage to prepare for an upcoming concert. This is one of the most spectacular amphitheaters (and outdoor venues) in the entire world. Very unique and you can visit most any day unless they are in a dress rehearsal. Many finely honed athletes like to run its steps and work out in front of what is always a crowd of tourists. Great views from the top, including the Denver skyline and the eastern plains of Colorado. I highly recommend a visit here. Along with the altitude, if you are not acclimated the many stair steps and inclines will tire you, depending on your age and fitness level.
