Description

I missed having a 'sona so I made a new one! It took me a lot longer than I had wanted to settle on a design but eventually got somewhere I was really happy with. At some point, I fell in love with the idea of a merle border collie with white ears. She has a lot of different bandanas and the ones featured are by no means all of them so when drawing her feel free to give her a new bandana if you'd like!

Lore-wise, Meru is a working border collie who herds a flock of sheep, once working with a human shepherd who has since become deceased so Meru now works alone. These sheep aren't any ordinary sheep, however, as each one represents a different story project of mine. She herds these stories across a dramatic mountainous landscape and protects them from disappearing into complete obscurity. Sometimes, new lambs appear and join her flock. These new lambs are ideas that need to be nurtured. Meru's different colored eyes represents past and future.
