So, a series of bad events happened to Starflare, which broke him down.
Then he, in one way or another, finds a dark magic artifact, which begins to "suggest" to him.
That explains why he was doing this.

I don't think so, unless you're talking about the trial version, but if you research a little I think you can find plenty amount of cracked version around the internet, but if you don't take a risk of get a good amount of virus you can buy the original version, I think even here on da you can find where you can get this program
