I've been seeing bits of this comic around the Internet, and only just recently found this.
Now that I've spent the last 2 days reading them all, my mind is blown.
Of all the comics I've read online this is the best.
I love that everything is hand done and any mistakes only add to the character of the comic itself.
Reading this has inspired me to start working on my own comic.
The only thing that I'd like to ask is where did you get your inspiration for this, and are you coming up with it as you go or do you have the full story planned out already?

The original concept, I just wanted to make something sad, and came up with the idea of a scene of Twilight Sparkle getting horribly injured and undergoing a miraculous recovery. Needless to say, it has evolved. XD

Wait we saw the princess incinerated her coffin and we know the her corpse was in there or if it wasn't doctors said her injuries were serious and were saw her die with pinkie,applejack and spike saw with there own eyes how was it possible and the bad guys have clones in pods and they said send a spy I hope there future pages can answer this.

They saw the doctor call it. Blackmail could be an option, combined with a pony homonculus for the faked body, allowing an open casket funeral. (Easy with their magic.) Combine that with a minor perception filter spell, and she could've been at her own funeral for all we know. Four or five low level spells and one high, along with some politics and she's good to go.

we don't know if the real her was in there though, he never opened it. there could have been nothing in there or the hologram sitting in there and then was burned. we never saw them open it so we can't be sure.
as for the injuries yes they were, but if she teleported, then she couldn't have moved so much and saved herself opening them up again.
as for the dying part, again I think it was a hologram since the two poses look identical with her mouth open in both. the hologram would have no pulse and there fore be considered dead
as for the last part the spy probably was to check to see if the mane six, minus twilight was still there in ponyville, but not too sure

If you can't understand why somebody wants something, DON'T GIVE IT TO THEM. Honestly, the best way to avoid stuff like this is to say "no" to anything that sounds remotely Noodle Implements-ish.

Sounds...possible but I'm sort of lost with after the "Hologram" and the end of the sentence "pulse".

okay so if you look at twilight when we thing she is dead in the bed, her mouth is open in there is magic on her horn. in this picture here, what is she doing her mouth is open and spike is recording that so that he can use it as a hologram for later. if he plays it and combines it with magic twilight would use to make the hologram look really (by adding the magic on the horn and giving the hologram a solid mass to it) then spike or twilight would just need to activate the camera for a secound while twilight hides, lets say under the bed, and then uses, at a short distence her magic to make it seem like the hologram is her and dead. then a quick teleportation and boom we have a dead twilight who is later found alive.
that is why she is saying don't judge her because she made spike help and she was in the room while they were sobbing

One more question that needs to be answered sooner than later is how Twilight managed make the long trot from Ponyville to Manehatten.

She would teleport. all she would need to do is wait until all the ponies were gone, teleport over to the shop that Locket was, in since it was a familiar place for her, and then she could rest a few days in hiding peacefully and locket would no doubt keep her secret since she said she was a dear friend. Remember back on 201 she didn't seem too upset by her being dead and Starlight said "she was a nice pony" since she seems pretty young to be able to remember ponies she met once, Starlight must have seen her recently. Meaning that most likely she was resting in the shop with them and twilight propably baby sat Starlight to help Locket and probably did other things for her in an exchange for her hiding. Plus when someone needs to go into hiding and in her condition, they need a while to rest and requporate, in that time as well she can wait for no one to recognize her, allowing her to escape in the night to go do what needed to be done.

What about when she was in the coffin? Was it her a hologram? I'm enjoying the story but some aspects of Twi faking her death seem iffy at best.

in that case I think yes actually, something like a maniquen let's say, it could have been used and rearanged with magic. all she would need to do is be close to make the hologram look real. no matter what it is a terrific story but it is also a wonderfull puzzle to try and figure out

I'm also calling the hologram theory into question as the doctor tried both shock treatment and CPR. He wouldn't be able to do that on a hologram. Perhaps she used a trick to lower her heart beat to be "dead" for a few minutes then revive and escape with Spikes help.
