Look at the eye patch and then look at the messed up eye of Stareflare......I wonder. (Actually I already know the answer however I am viewing this as if I hadn't read to the end.) I think they are one in the same, that or Stareflare took on Buckshot's form/appearance. It would explain his interest in the girl not to mention why he was crying when he learned that she was the daughter of Stareflare. I think it has to be him......somewhere, someway or somehow it has got to be Stareflare.
I wish I would have picked up on this the first time I read through it. GOSH DARN IT!!!! I totally missed it!!! I never miss this kind of stuff!!! You sir are awesome, not to mention you had me so involved and wound up that I just wanted to see what was going to happen next. That is something that seldom happens to me. Usually I can keep myself out of a story and figure out the plot and the twists that the writer is planning. I can usually do this way before anyone else figures it out. I bow to you good sir/madam for producing such a kick ass comic as well as an amazing ability for story telling!!!
