I decided to do a height chart of not only Hunter, Blitz, Colleen and Exile, but also of a few OCs (including my own), just for fun.I realize that there are no official heights for the Road Rovers, but after discussing it with a friend, and comparing the heights of the OCs, I came up with the heights that you see up above.
Blitz, as you can see, is 6'2", which is the same height as Arnold Swartzenagger. Originally, I would have had Blitz at 6'0", but ToonTorment pointed out the Swartzenagger detail, and from then on I pretty much had Blitz at 6'2" (I'm sure our Doberman friend would prefer to be 2 inches taller anyway

Agreeing with this so hard. Dobermans are pretty big dogs, so it makes sense that Blitz would be the second tallest after Shag. I don't why there are so many pple who think Exile is some huge hulking beast. I mean, in the werewolf ep he's standing next to Hunter and is shown to several inches shorter then him (Colleen I think was somewhere about that same height or shorter). I guess because he's muscular and stuff?
But I notice RR fans seem to have this fixation with having really tall characters (canon and fan-made), which is frankly odd to me (and I'm like 6'0''). Pple come in a variety of sizes, and I don't think anthros would be any different. IMHO.

One of the reasons why I like to make Blitz the big guy of the team (apart from Shag that is) is because of not onlyΒ how timorous and cowardly he was, but also how he was always kind've throwing his weight around; he knew he was a big guy and wanted everyone else to know it.

Personally I think Exile is much cuter when he's a shorty that can pack a wallop.

Hm, really? Well, I don't pay too much attention to how people size up their OCs, although MDT and ToonTorment have been pretty good at giving theirs' varying heights (as you can see for yourself, of course

But I suppose people make their Road Rover OCs really tall because they're Super Heroes, and Super Heroes tend to be sex objects as well as heroic figures.

I never thought of it like that, but that's an interesting thought. I guess Blitz had the reverse of short man syndrome, lol.
Well, I like perusing the profiles of pples' OFCs, so it was hard not to notice it when pple have toy dogs and other little dogs like cocker spaniels and Scottish terriers as being 6'0'' tall or over. I get having tall characters if they're big as ordinary animals. But in the show we have Sport who turned out to be a little guy as a Cano, so it doesn't make much sense to have these giant toy dogs running around. I give those two credit for giving their charcters more varied heights then usual. Like you, I base my fan character heights on their breeds (with the exception of certain non-canine carnivores/omnivores, but I have an explanation for that).
I hope that really is the reason. I kinda have this suspicion about why a lot of pple make ultra tall characters, but I can't confirm it.

Hahah, probably. X) Although that does remind me of a funny moment I thought of between ToonTorment's OC, Hakumaru (who is 6'6") and Roger; because Roger is always challenging Haku to fights (because he lost their first one), Haku accuses him of having "little dog syndrome."

Well, remember Fluffy the canomutant? He was a cocker spaniel and yet he was GIGANTIC... of course, he was also a mutant, and somehow that gives free reign on sizes.

That's true about Fluffy, but mutants were always shown to be large in the show. XD We're talking about Cano-Sapiens here. I know the person you're talking about. Their corgi OFC's pretty adorbs (in fact, little dog Cano-Sapiens look cuter to me when they're short, but again, that's just me).

No, not always. The canomutants from "Still a Few Bugs in the System" were the exact same size as the Rovers. But yeah, I agreeΒ on where short canosapiens are concerned

I don't know, that's just how I see them. I mean, it's really weird to think that I am two inches taller than Exile, whom I'd expect to be pretty big, at least 6' 1".

Well, I'm only going by the info that the show gave us: Blitz is easily the tallest of the Road Rovers (aside from Shag, that is), and in one episode he was asked if he was a "6 foot tall dog-man who talks", to which Blitz replied "Yes." That could mean that Blitz is 6'0", or, given that he's supposed to be a parody of Arnold Swartzenagger, he could be 6'2" like how Arnold is. So yeah.

I guess. But I think that he'd be at least taller than Colleen. So maybe 5' 10 1/2" or 5' 11". And yeah, I think Blitz would probably be 6' 2".

You won't believe this, but I'm 5'8. So I'd be a tiny bit smaller than Exile and Tsunami. They're both 5'9. Blitz and Geist would definitely be taller. They're both 6ft.

Nice work! Too bad Exile and the others aren't 6ft or taller he's my fav. Also do your stories and pics include Exile's Super Strength as well? 'Cause a lot of people have forgotten that.
