~No Less than a month since the Arrival of the Martians; something starts to happen to them.... driven with a need to work, move, attack, feed etc.... their frantic workings take their toll as their mutated biology is highly vulnerable to the disease & illnesses that humanity have long ago become resistant if not outright immune to... & thus the greatest of ironies befall these conquerors.....

For all of man's weapons not being able to fall them (easily) it's the simplest things that does in these would-be conquerors..... the greatest ironic end in Sci-Fi, in literature if not of all fiction~
