Description
my scars may be translucentbut the perception of your pain
was nothing less than vivid -
a brilliant experience
of what true love was
to exist in actuality,
like two carbon atoms
that circle each other
but dare not form the compound
to each, in equal identities
having the same composition
but different properties.

Nice poem, but the carbon atom analogy seems kind of awkward. It was definatelly a good place to throw in an analogy, but the one you picked seems a bit forced.
