just a bit of sketch dump. with predator.

anybody else curious as to why the predator's gear and weapon is clunky, and the overall appearance of the yautja is more like a hulking human than an agile badass hunting alien?
well recently I've been in sort of a "I want to draw some organic technology" mood, this week.
and I thought, hey, why not do the predator?

the result was this. at first I wanted to focus on the new body type, but then it went more towards making the predator's gear and armor organic looking. the story behind that might be that the yautja can incorporate their tech into their being and literally "become" the perfect hunter. plus from the perspective of the avp franchise, it makes sense for alien civilizations to have some mutual form of biomechanical tech, but that's a whole other can of worms for later.

anyway, predator is the property of 20th centuary Fox studios.
expect a similar redesign for the xenomorph soon
