[Brief History Lesson..]

Not too recently, Marvel launched a miniseries for a story arc called "The Venomverse"
(which I suppose was in response to the Spiderverse stories, all things considered)

Where alternate versions of Venom from other Marvel Universe realities joined forces against a common threat.

There were some interesting examples..But, THIS was one of my favorites.

Called "Host Rider", This is what happens when the Venom Symbiote bonds with the Ghost Rider.
and Agent of Vengeance that is 100x worse than the actual Ghost Rider is (if that were even possible.)

Like Ghost Rider, the "Venom Rider" (as I call him) also seeks out the guilty to exact vengeance.
(which is made easier, given Venom can now "sense sin" wherever it may be.)

But, due to Venom's influence, the Rider is decidedly more brutal (which isn't much of a change)
and, now, rather than feasting on brains..the Venom Rider feeds on sinful souls.

It does this by using it's now hellfire tongue to perform a "Penance Lick",
which reads the someone's soul, and determines if they are a Sinner, or a Saint.

and, "God have mercy" if you are deemed a true Sinner. as if that happens,
Venom Rider uses it's "Penance Kiss", where he literally sucks your soul from your body, consuming it.

(He is is known to feed said body to it's vehicle, which itself is a Symbiote/Hellfire fusion.)

Due to their Synergy, Venom no longer is weak against fire.
It can also can form hellfire chains from it's bio-mass (sometimes shooting them out like Spider-Man's webbing.)

People have often compared this Venom/Ghost Rider fusion to Spawn from Image Comics..

..and, I can see why. ALOT of this character is similar to Todd McFarlane's character,
making it by far one of the best alternate versions of both Venom and Ghost Rider.

I mean, Come On..it's Venom and Ghost Rider fused together!

How can you NOT love this?!
