ATTACK OF THE DADDY LONG-LEGS! Hehe. Well this looks absolutely beautiful and very relaxing, indeed. The water seems like cooled off lava, Oo *points to lower-right hand corner* ^^ Great job!

Hmm, the sky is a little blown out but that river looks very relaxing to hang out in a boat on. Don't worry about those daddy long leg spiders, there jaws aren't big enough to bite you

This has got to be the most peaceful thing I've seen ever! I love how in the foreground the water is moving, but as you go further back it gets still and you can see reflections. I'm coming down to steal your scenery and put it in my backyard.

That is absolutely stunning! The trees drooping down at the top and the colouring make it seem almost ethereal and dreamlike. Wowzers.

And now for the real comment:

You always seem to be visiting the most awesome of places. Gorgeous scenery here. I want to lick that water (don't ask). Smooth. The colouring is surreal. I love it! Oh yeah, I really do. I adore trees, have I ever mentioned this? I want a tree. Too bad I can't keep one on my balcony. Well, I suppose I could, in theory, but then it'd die 'cause I'd neglect it and stuff, I'm sure. I wonder if trees like wine?

It's pretty relaxing over there in the back, but where you took the picture doesn't feel very relaxing..

Wow. You live in a beautiful, beautiful place. I'm so envious. *drool*

I like the drooping blue leaves (or boughs...some botanic term I'm unfamiliar with..?) on the right top corner, which reminds me of swishy curtains of hair. And the fuzzy leaves of the tree on the left side. They're a nice contrast against the hard, almost metallic-ky texture of the water, and they create that "relaxing" atmosphere.

Again: you live in a beautiful, beautiful place. Lucky lucky lucky you. > _<

Sweet and serene composition, nice blueness in the water, good textures and details with the water ripples, lovely.

Wholly Carp!

I'm so sorry I didn't comment on this right after it came out.. I've been in a blah comment mood lately.

It's so pretty! It looks like the water is alive.. well, the part that's closer and not as calm as the water that's farther off. ((o.O at self))

The droopy ferns are the best part in my opinion.. they take the same blue from the water and continue it upwards, lending a sense of balance to this.. (the rapids [or whatever ] also do this with the white from the sky, so it all kinda ties in together; the trunks of the trees also look slightly blue-ish). But back to the ferns. How can you resist the droopy ferns? 'Sspecially when they're blue.

The sky seems to radiate light, and where the trees are looks very mysterious... you know, this seems like a picture you could take of Xanth (dunno if you read the series- by Piers Anthony, very insane and wonderful) Like with some sort of magical sting-ray floating halfway between the far and near water... ooh, I could so see that. But then again, I have a wild imagination.

So, to sum this huge blab-filled comment up; This looks crazy-cool, the sky and the trees lend it a mysterious aspect, the blues and whites are all over, really tying this together, and the droopy ferns rock, and we must them.

I'm out

PS, if the sky was very blue at the time there are lens cover things you can get to keep it that way, also you could probably pump it up is PS, if you wanted to. but if you like it that way, then forget I opened my big mouth.

PPS we still need to get back at those anti bacterial people.

how wonderful. it reminds me of the spring we are just starting to taste. the warmth and fresh breezes. I love how the water looks to still, as it it were always just like that, so smooth and slick you could stand on it , or lay down and look up at the trees and sky(and falling spiders!). the only thing I have say is that it seems sort of over bright at the top, I can't tell if it was over cast or if the sky was washed out from the light. but that doesn't take away from the grandeur of the picture. Kudos to you.

This is beautiful! I think it's perfect. In my (short) experience, I've found that when taking a picture of something with a sky background, the sky almost always turns white, at least on digital. It's just the way it goes...like when you have a bright light in the room and the whole picture is underexposed to compensate. Cameras do some funky things. I really like how the sky came out though...I think if it were bright blue it would just take away from the blueness of the water. Great work cloney balogna! It's a lovely piece.

How do you always manage to capture such lovely shots? The blue tones here are wonderful the water looks great. Claming and peaceful. The sky as ^ alteredreality said, is a bit washed out but it works well here, it adds a nice bit of contrast to the blue of the water.

Beautiful! I like how water looks so soft - at first there are
some movements on it but than they turn into a flat area.
And the trees on the left are great!

Oh yes, and I olove the blue-green-white colours!!!

Nice pic, great tones in the water, and it really contrasts well with the greens, tend to agree on lighting of sky being bright, but I think the picture works well how it is...

the water and backround are a baby in carriage. The water is a crying child, bawling about, sloshing in the surge of the lake (backround) carrying it along to its slumber. Together, they are one. And to the lake, the water, your boat was just a toy to entertain it until it's next nap. Cool
