I live near Skyline Drive and feel lucky to be able to see them everyday. A lady I use to work with, who use to live in California, told me that she thought the mountains in the west were far more beautiful than here in the east. I told her that the mountains in the west are gorgeous and our mountains here in the east are much more ancient and humble looking in comparison but they are no less beautiful.
