Love it. And love Lilith. I knew it when I saw the first picture, a touch of magick from beyond the gate

I'm just a bit of a wordsmith - how you've managed to compose this piece with ink I do not know, and envy something fierce.

i have been wondering about drawings like this that say white acrylic? where do you use the acrylic? first; before you draw with the pen? and do you use liquid ink? almost paint with it... like the shadows on her legs. Just trying to pick up some new techniques. awesome awesome work though. i love it. you have alot of good focus points too (another thing i'm working on). keep it up

I sometimes use white acrylic at the very end, to add some reflections or "shining spots". I tend to use it less these days though... I also use liquid ink in some drawings (or, more precisely, "washed ink": ink mixed with water), but again I'm not using this technique very often now.

Does she eat her own babies (after birth)? She looks too thin to be pregnant, but too big to be not. It's weird.

Everybody must see a nice work.

I agree, but DA seems to be pretty strict concerning "adult" content

I've just spent hours going through all of your black and whites, and this one is by far my favourite. The composition rocks. Your grasp of architecture is mind-boggling. I'm totes magotes watching you.

I am not going to read all the comments to see if this was mentioned or not but:
Your attention to detail and work in traditional mediums is inspiring.
This picture reminds me of one out of many that should be part of a Tarot Deck.

I couldn't help but think of the Lilith from the story of Adam and Even, from which Lilith was omitted because she refused to be subservient to Adam. I wonder if that was what you were thinking of when you made this...?
Still, it's very beautiful. I'm usually drawn to more color pieces of artwork but as I've said before, your art is always so gorgeous, and I find thatit doesn't need color to define it. Absolutely brilliant.

Well I wanted to draw an "evil" looking woman, so I just borrowed various aspects of the Lilith myth (like the snake, the wings, the devoured babies...), but not necessarily the biblical side of her

i love the statues and the snake! i have a question though....are those just normal human skulls? cause they look like baby skulls as they have the crack in them.....
ps very nice work very creepy!

They are indeed babies skulls, as the legend of Lilith (well, one of her legends...) says she devours babies.
