We finally saw "Alice in Wonderland" at the crew screening in the El Capitan in Hollywood on Wednesday and it was an amazing experience seeing everything come to life. The guys at Imageworks did an amazing job with the visual effects, hats off!This is my final design of the White Rabbit for Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland".
I will post a scarier, more out-of-this-world concept of the White Rabbit I did at the very beginning of the project later on.
While I designed most of the characters on the show from scratch, this concept is based on a drawing by the very talented Bobby Chiu imaginism.deviantart.com/

Habe den Film gestern auch gesehen, und muss sagen dass er wirklich toll geworden ist!
Die Story/ Zusammensetzung weist zwar einige Schwachpunkte auf, was die Chara-Designs und Settings jedoch wieder voll wett machen.
Die SchlΓΆsser der beiden KΓΆniginnen und der Garten zu Anfang (in dem Alice im Unterland ankommt) waren traumhaft *___*
Von den Figuren haben mir die Rote KΓΆnigin und -natΓΌrlich *seufz*- der Hutmacher am besten gefallen - die Chara-Designs der beiden sind derbst genial, und Johnny Depp und Helena Bonham Carter sowieso einsame Spitze.
Letztendlich war der Film optisch zwar mehr ein Kutsche&Imaginism-Film als ein Tim Burton-Produkt, aber dennoch eine super Zusammenarbeit, Hut ab!

I enjoyed that interview as well, I think I enjoy listening to artists talk about thier craft and thought as much as looking at thier work.
This piece is one of the stand-outs of the series, the body language and expression you got is priceless - you really get that sense you interrupted him.

I saw the movie today (here in Germany) and you all did such a GREAT job, simply amazing! I really love your artwork, it's so detailled and filled with small but yet so big thoughts and ideas that make it so perfect in the end.. Wow!! I'm so glad to be seeing this! (I haven't been to the theater to see the movie yet, but I can't wait!) Now I see where many of the beautiful scenes in the movie came from -- inspired by beautiful works and concept art such as yours. Very grand indeed.
