A little fanart of the 'MyLittlePony: Friendship is Magic' show.
This time with Rarity. Have to admit she's one of my favs. x3

Well, Rarity is pretty fun. She is pretty much the girly girl but her attempts to be the princess type often fail in silly ways from meeting that rather unchivalrous prince to falling from sky.
I think you drew her pretty well. She looks like she should and colors are right. The pose and expression suit her too. It is just that with ponies you can't really draw at whim. Sketching the pic with spheres and lines makes it easier.
If you draw MLP you sure divide the audience. My Little Pony sounds bad to the ears of many which is a pity because the new MLP really has just the names and ponies and everything else is new and good.

I do think the animators of the show cheat a bit with it and use templates or vectors to make drawing her tail easier.

Hmm... People really are negative about this show, and I can't really seem to see why.
I think its the title of the show. "My Little Pony". Its very... controversial who watches a show about ponies. People tend to stereotype the name with it being a girly show, so they try to avoid it.
For example, I watch the show because I have two nieces, one is 4 the other is 2, and they love the show, and I can say, confidently, that I do too.
I started to watch the show for two reasons:
1) People kept telling me that it was a good show, and
2) My sister was looking for new shows to show to her daughters (my nieces). So I looked up a few, and this show was one of them.
I like the show for the simple reason that it makes you forget that you are watching a "My Little Pony" show. Its full of content that everyone, of all ages, can enjoy.
Just remember: a lot of the people, but not all of them, who say "Ew, you LIKE that show?!" either haven't watched it, or don't understand the real brilliance of the show.
Lauren Faust is a Genius. Enough Said.

Well, I think is has fun and creative characters, the whole thing is very well done, it never feels lame or flat, the style is pretty cool and the entertainment, humour and themes of the whole thing is alot better than alot of other things going on at the moment. Granted, it's My Little Pony, but I think it only proofs there's more than meets the eye. ( No Transformers pun intended XD )
I never expected to like it so much, but I do, and I think it holds up really well.
