we may imagine that this is one of the favorite interrogation practices of CIA/FBI & assorted services... although mostly with male suspects and tightly handcuffed... if the victim loses balance he/she may break the neck, heavily injure nose and mouth - THAT's why some (not so sheepish) people may find this 'degrading'.

I love that pose.  I have been criticized for making a photo with a similar pose: christophersacry.deviantart.co…
I don't understand why some people take offense to this pose, it says so many things and I can not find one of them wrong, but people only see me degrading the model with it.  Have you found much of that in your work?  My criticism came from other photographers oddly enough.
