This metaphor come to life is quite fascinating. I think there should be more lighting on the sides of the planet and more detail could have been put into the starfield. That having been said the planet's dual lighting effects have been executed quite beautifully. The dotted line could have easily been omitted, however after seeing it there it adds more of a punch to the message of the piece and seeing a clear line in the sand, if you will, really adds a sense of depth to the piece. I always enjoy observing great pieces of art and especially enjoy pieces that bring more to the table than just a pretty outward appearance. Very nice work you have here.

I figure if one should have the courage to comment than they should follow through with full force. I really dislike half-assed comments on any work. "Oh it's so pretty" "wow that's really nice" to me those say nothing and I feel it's better to state my thoughts on every aspect of the piece to benefit the artist. I know I'd rather have a wall of well thought out, well written text, than a short "Awesome."
