Description
Hushed, tumbling snowfat, wet flakes
peppering my upturned face
melting across the flat planes
of my wind-reddened cheeks.
Braced against sloping wood
coated in winter's paint
a hot summer recalled
slender fingers threaded with mine
our raw toes curled
against sun-warmed wood
bridging a shallow creek
obsidian skirt
falling in heavy folds from your hips.
Back at solitary tracks I stare
winding passages
searching.

I really love the line "coated in winter's paint" that is a beautiful image-- a wonderful way to phrase it 8D

Thank you! We've been working a lot with imagery and such. It means a lot to hear that it's working.
