~Reader's POV~

"Y/N? Y/N? Are you awake?"

"Wakey wakey sleepy head!"

*Groan*

"Just 5 minutes, please?"

"No! Wake up!"

Suddenly, I was wide awake as Amy pulled the covers, rather forcefully, off of my body and threw them on the floor of my bedroom. The Doctor, Amy and Rory were all stood around my bed staring at me. Luckily I went to bed late last night and I ended up sleeping in my normal clothes with my shoes still on.

"What?" I asked, unamused as I rubbed my eyes and stretched slowly.

"We came back to get you," Amy said, a wide smile plastered on her face.

"Wait, wait.. You've come back to get me? S-So you left me.. You pretty much ran away, I assume with The Doctor and you totally forgot to come get me? O-Or even tell me? I know to you not much time has passed, but when you think about, it probably has.. I can't believe you left me, you forgot about me Amy!" I paused and sighed, "You forgot about your best friend! How could you?!" I shouted. Tears threatened to break free and roll down my face but I wouldn't let them.

"You left me! You left me, the night before your wedding! Before your big day! You left me, the girl who's always been there for you, waited for you no matter what, the girl you've always been glad to have by your side and you left her! 'Amy Pond, the girl that waited' and 'Y/N L/N, the girl that was forgotten!'" I yelled as tears fell down my face. I quickly got up from my bed and ran out of my house. My hair was a mess, my bow tie was twisted, my jacket sleeves were rolled up and my shoe laces were untied. I ran and ran, not bothering to look back to see if they were following me. She left me.. After what she said those 2 years ago before my birthday.. She needed me and she was glad to have me but she chose to run off with The Doctor and leave me behind just 2 years later. Then The Doctor came back and clearly picked up Rory but neither of them reminded him to come get me did they?!

~Amy's POV~

"Where did she go?" The Doctor asked, looking around her room. Oh yeah, he's never been here before has he.

"Well in all honesty, I have no clue," Rory replied with a shrug.

"She's.. Gone wherever she goes when she feels abandoned and alone," I said in realisation.

"And where would that be?" The Doctor asked, crossing his arms.

"She's gone to the only place where she feels safe. The only place that can calm her down. She told me the night before her birthday 2 years ago that she crashed her TARDIS here on Earth. She always carried the last piece of it wherever she goes and when she's sad.. She said she goes to where she crashed it," I paused and sniffled, "I know where it is, it's not that far. Follow me."

~Timeskip~

"Doc, I think it might be a good idea you talk to her," I suggested, looking at the Doctor.

"Why do you say that?" He replied.

"Well.. You've clearly known her longer than us, even if you do travel through time and she used to. You obviously used to meet sometimes and cross paths, like you and River. Except you and Y/N don't really have the problem of being in each other's pasts and futures," I smiled, "And, well, you're both Timelords. You still own your TARDIS and you could probably imagine how she felt when she lost hers."

"I see your point," He tapped his chin before nodding, "Okay, I'll go speak to her."

~Reader's POV~

How could she.. She left me for her 'Raggedy Doctor'. For the man who promised her 5 minutes and instead made it 12 years and then added an extra 2 and she left me just like that. I knew this would happen. The last time I had a best friend, back when the Victorians were here.. She left me just like Amy has and I never saw her again. I couldn't live on, I struggled to keep myself going. I felt so broken and empty inside. Then.. When I moved here, after all the wars and complications that made me move away so long ago, and met Amy all those years ago when she just left College.. She's 21 now and I'm 903 or 23 as I say to other humans so it's not weird. Damn, I'm getting old. Why did she do it? Because he's got a TARDIS and I don't anymore?! Because he's her special 'Raggedy Doctor'? Is that it?!

"Is that it, ay?" I said aloud, "Is that the reason you chose to run off with that raggedy man and leave me. You chose him because he offered you something I could never give you. Adventure.. Throughout time and space in his TARDIS. Mine blew up when I crashed exactly 202 years ago and you never knew the hard times I struggled to get through without my TARDIS. He was the greatest thing to me. He was my only friend because everyone I met.. Called me mad and never stayed long enough to become a friend.."

"She didn't mean to, you know," I heard an all to familiar voice say, "She didn't know it would hurt you this much."

"Oh, go away Doctor.. You're partly to blame for this too.. You're the one who offered her to travel, you're the one who stole her from me!" I yelled as more tears fell from my eyes. I held the last piece of my TARDIS close to my chest, close to my 2 beating hearts.

"I do agree there but remember, she has alwa-"

"Oh shut up! You think your so cool having the last TARDIS, always thinking you were the last true time lord, always rejecting me but welcoming humans to be your companions, always saying how great you were and how I would never be so great! You broke me Doctor! So did Amy! You both did! And you can't take it back! Do you know how it feels!? How it feels to be called mad? How it feels to be left alone, broken.. Abandoned? How it feels to loose something so dear to you that you have to force yourself to find something to keep living for?!" I stood up and walked to where I last heard his voice to see he was alone. No Amy or Rory anywhere in sight. That's odd.

"NO! Of course you don't!" I poked his chest forcefully and then clutched the last piece of my beloved boy, "You don't know what it's like to loose your friend, your best friend, your only friend in the entire universe! Your only friend who would stay by you but then disappeared and left you forever! You only loose companions and even then, you replace them with new ones! I lost my TARDIS, I lost my best friend back in 1808, I've now lost Amy.. I even lost my screwdriver!" I yelled in his face as tears pooled from eyes and stained my pale cheeks.

"Of course I do. I've lost people too.. I know it's not easy but you need to let go.. You need to move on and live, remembering the good times you had. Even the bad things can be good to hold onto but never, ever, let go of them.." He replied with a croaky voice as he embraced me in a hug, "I'm sorry for everything bad I've ever said about you in past regenerations.. No matter when, where or why I said it.. I'm sorry. You are quite remarkable Y/N and sometimes I thought that if it wasn't for you and me bumping into each other sometimes I might not have made it.."

"I.. I forgive you D-Doctor.." I sniffled and held him tightly as I cried into his chest, still clutching my precious possession to my chest. He tensed up a little but eventually relaxed. Not long later, we both pulled away and he smiled at me while wiping away the tears from my soaked face.

~Timeskip: You're On The TARDIS Now~

~3rd Person POV~

"So, Doctor, where are we going?" Amy asked as she leaned against the console.

"I don't know yet, still undecided, but don't worry, it will be amazing no matter where we go," The Doctor winked at her and went off flipping switches and pressing buttons on the console.

"Is.. Is Y/N going to be okay?" Rory asked, concerned for his girlfriend and wife to be's best friend.

"Oh, uhh, not sure, ask her?" The Doctor replied.

Y/N just stayed there. Sat on one of the steps that led down into more of the TARDIS. Her eyes were closed and her cheeks were still wet from the years worth of tears she'd let fall. She was hugging her herself as she waited for something the Doctor had promised he'd get her a new one of, a sonic screwdriver. Suddenly, something on the control panel went ding and a new sonic screwdriver popped up.

"Ah, there it is, thanks my deary," The Doctor said to the TARDIS as he grabbed the sonic. He then walked over to Y/N's side and sat beside her.

"You're awfully quiet," He said as he held the screwdriver out for her. Hesitantly, she took it and put it inside her jacket before continuing to ignore everyone as she fell back into her confused and lonely mind.

"I'm fine," She replied rather bitterly as she finally rose from her sat position, followed by the Doctor, and walked towards the doors of the TARDIS. She rested her hand on one of them. The TARDIS apparently liked it as she made some noises that weren't distressed or angry but peaceful and happy.

"I know girl, I know. I feel your pain, I really do," Y/N said as she closed her eyes and let a single, last tear fall to the floor.

"Alright, Doctor, we're going to head off to bed, we'll see you soon, okay?" Amy said, breaking the silence between the 4 of them.

"Yeah, yeah. Okay, goodnight Amy, and Rory," He said, still watching Y/N's back. Once Amy and Rory were out of sight and hearing distance, the Doctor spoke up.

"What would you prefer? Y/N L/N or The Traveller?" He asked in a cheerful voice trying to make her happy. He couldn't bare to see her so sad. Even when he used to see her all the that time ago before she crashed, she was never sad, no matter what happened.

"Well, I would prefer my birth name if that's okay. Y/N L/N was just a name I used while I was on Earth, Doctor. I will go back to the name everyone else in the Universe knows me by," She responded, turning around to face him. He was still stood, leaning up against the console while she was stood in front of the TARDIS doors. She walked over to him in silence and stood beside him, looking out into the TARDIS.

"Do you miss it?" He questioned her.

"Miss what?"

"All this. The TARDIS, space, time travel," He sighed and looked down, "Me." She looked up at him and gave a small smile.

"Of course I did. Everyday," She held lightly onto his right arm and patted his shoulder, "Of course I missed it all, especially seeing you every now and again." The Doctor looked her with pure kindness in his eyes.

"Why especially seeing me?" He asked with curiosity.

"I don't know. I guess I just missed you," She closed her eyes and peacefully smiled. Removing her hands, she walked off towards her room she was given within the TARDIS.

"Goodnight Doctor."

"Goodnight Traveller."
