Description
These are my two newest characters, Inventor and Invention. They have hijacked my sketchbook since I first thought of them last Tuesday, and they're not letting it go until I finish their story. Luckily it will fit in a 10 page comic, so it shan't take too long... hopefully.I'm feeling a little restless with my happy characters, so I decided to make a pair doomed to tragedy from the start. He (inventor) gets commissioned to make her (Invention), a clockwork girl who can speak, act and think like a human girl. It doesn't quite go to plan when she falls in love with him. Society may think she is an incredible scientific achievement, but they would not like to see her with a human lover. Even more important is whether or not Inventor can come to terms with his feelings towards his own creation.
There's just no way for it to end happily.

God this is incredible. I LOVE androids. Robot girls are my true obsession, and she is wearing green, my favourite colour. Great piece. I love the storyline as well.

Nifty idea. It's kinda Tim Burtonish in style. The invention looks very prim and proper, despite seeming to be very haphazardly put together. She has a dangerous glint in her eye too. Like, "Don't touch my man!" Very interesting. Can't wait to see how this develops!

I like your new chara, very original. And the desing of the both of them is really good.
I also like their story and the image shows a lot of emotions.

The characters are wicked! I love the designs. The story sounds similar to this japanese anime manga, Chobits. I like your idea better though >.>; I don't like anime...

I suppose it is a little like Chobits, but it's also similar to quite a few other stories. I'm not claiming the idea to be original, according to post modernism everything's been done anyway. This is just my take on it. Plus, I'm taking a much more tragic ending than Chobits did.

Oh, no, I'm not offended. I've just had several other cases of people likening my story to several other stories already. I've said this a few times and it's become rather abreviated.

Whoosh! I'm relieved...I tried to give another person a constructive critique (cause it said advanced critique welcome) and then they said that they liked the way it was, and I said sorry, and that was just my opinion and now that person seems annoyed with me and now I'm screwed. Oy, I hope he doesn't bite my head off..I didn't mean it..
