18 years ago, August 16th, 2005. We lost a wonderful, loving and talented man, his name was Joe Ranft. A brilliant story man, funny and gifted voice actor, and crafted artist. I deeply miss him every day, while I've only grown attached to him for a generally small period of my life. He has given me a reason for persistence. Finishing school, I was lost and terrified of what the world will throw at me. Joe Ranft though, from what he left behind in his legacy and influence, painted a path that I haven't wandered from.

My dream is very much alive, and it will never vanish. Joe, from the bottom of my heart, Thank you. You gave me so much joy as a child. I wish I could have met you, maybe I will, in some form eventually. I feel that I know where my place in this world is, all I've got to do is go towards it, and the journey will be hard but rewarding, knowing that you, Joe. Are potentially by my side, and many others, I'm sure.
