So, I was looking at the season 1 episodes, and I couldn't resist~! It's a Parasprite, from Swarm of the Century. These little creatures usually eat every bit of food in sight, similar to locusts irl, but a magic spell casted by Twilight Sparkle caused one the entire Ponyville swarm to eat everything EXCEPT food! They're timid little buggers that reproduce asexually, they eat enough food and then cough out a new Sprite to double in number each time.Inside the zip file in the Download button, you'll find the PSD file that holds this cute critter, as well as a large PNG for the preview picture and for those of you who don't have photoshop.
