The show version has kind of grown on me. I can understand why they did away with the eyepatch, as it may have been a tad too 'piratey'. And show Euron is already a lot more classically piratey than his fucking depraved, brother-raping, wannabe-Warlock book counterpart. I DO wish that they had've included his (allegedly) Valyrian steel armour in the show though. Who knows maybe it'll show up next season.
