Description Info: Those who have looked at my Metroid Monster Deviation [link] will quickly notice that there is a great big coffee stain on the bottom right of the drawing. This was not a mistake, but was actually a little something I Photoshopped into the image to make it more visually interesting. I don't drink coffee and I'm way too cautious to get food on my drawings. I intentionally made these marks on a blank sheet of paper and then scanned and edited them when they were dry.

Medium: Actual caffeinated beverages on white paper! Edited with Photoshop CS3

Date of Creation: 10/08/10

Trivia: I originally tried to find stock images of coffee stains I could use but there weren't many and most of the sites hosting such images wouldn't allow me to download the full images without getting some sort of membership. I hate this kind of smoke and mirrors, aren't stock images supposed to be FREE? As a result I decided it would be a lot easier to just make my own coffee stains and unlike the rest of those greedy jerks I'm allowing ANYONE to use these coffee stains for FREE! If you want to use these in any sort of art project just download this image and use it. It is my free gift to all of you, just remember to credit me and try to obey the creative commons license I put this under.

Suggested method of use (Photoshop):
1- Choose a coffee stain and cut it out with the rectangular marquee tool.

2- Position it over your image in the appropriate place

3- Change the layer type of the stain to MULTIPLY

4- That's it you're done!

*- Keep in mind that these are actual size so you may want to resize them depending on the size and resolution of your image.

Thanks for the comment! I wanted to put a coffee stain on the drawing because the boss was drinking coffee in the animation.

So it was you n' Alex that made me want to do it.
