This artwork depicts a weapon which is a part of my sci-fi world's lore. Do not copy the design, use it in your own artworks, or claim it as your own!

Lore and Description:
C10 "Larex" is a new generation assault rifle from Staris. Chambered for the 6.4 × 48 mm kinetic penetrator rounds and utilizing many of the same ideas as the J8 "Salix" SMG , the weapon is constructed from lightweight alloys and polymers and packed with high-tech features, including an ammo counter interface, which, when proprietary magazines and optics are used, can display the amount of remaining ammo in the shooter's field of view, a set of powered accessory rails, meaning no mounted attachments require their own power source, and a heat sink, which helps to keep the barrel cool - this feature was later improved and successors of this rifle became the weapon of choice of the first Space force operators, as a heat sink allows the weapon to be fired even in the vacuum of space, where the environment doesn't provide any natural cooling. Moreover, there's an integrated muzzle reference system, which monitors the barrel's wear and notifies the user when there's a problem or the bvarrel needs replacing. An electronic trigger ensures smooth shooting experience and a reliable safety. All electronic systems of the weapon are powered by a replaceable battery situated in the pistol grip. The gun shown in the image is also equipped with a tracker scope, which can be linked to a smart helmet and grant additional features to the shooter, such as target lead assist, meaning the weapon can be accurately fired even from the hip almost as easily as if the user was playing a video game, a feature which is a staple of modern Staris guns and makes their users noticeably more accurate and lethal.

Inspiration and Background Information:
This weapon design is an extensive redesign and improvement of my older Staris rifles, incluing the C6 "Frixus" and C9 "Illoba". The overall configuration with the backward-angled magazine is inspired by the R-x01 series of rifles from the Titanfall/Apex universe. Some styling is influenced by Cyberpunk 2077.
