This artwork depicts a weapon which is a part of my sci-fi world's lore. Do not copy the design, use it in your own artworks, or claim it as your own!

Lore and Description:
3K4 "Lican" is a great example of a "jack of all trades" modern weapon. It is an assault rifle produced by Kaneesian which is fairly simple and yet reliable and quite accurate. The weapon fires the ubiquitous 6.4 × 48 mm cartidge and it can fire in single shots, full auto or in two round bursts - a standard feature of Kaneesian assault rifles. Ammo is supplied by standardized Kaneesian polymer magazines, with extended magazines also being an option. The stock is adjustable in length, has a cheek pad that can be raised or lowered and it can also be folded to the side for weapon stowage. After the failed 3K3 prototype and the fairly well-received yet somewhat awkward bullpup 3K2 rifle, the 3K4 quickly gained popularity and was adopted by several militaries, mainly the regular forces of the Istarian Union and some of its independent allies.

Inspiration and Background Information:
The foregrip and the top rail are based on that of the SDS NK-1 shotgun, the magazine well is inspired by CZ-805 BREN and the stock is based on that of the IWI Carmel assault rifle. The magazine is loosely based on the design of Magpul P-Mags. My overall goal was to create a conventional "stereotypical modern assault rifle" similar to weapons like the FN Scar, CZ-805/806, SIG MCX and the AR-15, but with its own distinct style.
