This artwork depicts a weapon which is a part of my sci-fi world's lore. Do not copy the design, use it in your own artworks, or claim it as your own!

Lore and Description:
G-R 1 is a unique sniper rifle manufactured by Ria'kortaal, which fires 8/3.2 × 64 mm fin stabilized flechette round and uses a set of electromagnetic coils to further accelerate the flechette before it leaves the barrel. As a result, the rounds are incredibly fast, making hitting moving targets easier, and they also boast excellent penetration. The magazine is located behind the pistol grip and holds 6 rounds. In front of the grip, there is a power cell which powers the electromagnetic coils. The stock is adjustable and features a cheek rest. The particular weapon shown in the picture is equipped with a variable zoom scope that features an integrated night vision system and a bipod manufactured by Staris.

Inspiration and Background Information:
This weapon is mostly inspired by the real-life DSR-1 sniper rifle, with some elements also taken from the LS-70 Fors, a high-caliber rifle from Killzone 4. The DSR-1 is a bullpup sniper rifle which features a magazine holder in front of the trigger. I thought it would be interesting to turn this rifle into an electromagnetically-assisted weapon and replace the front magazine holder with a power cell socket. So I did just that. 😁
