Description
"at the last count human information was doubling around every 18 months. Further to this, there is a point somewhere around 2015 when human information is doubling every thousandth of a second. That means that in each thousandth of second we will have accumulated more information than we have in the entire previous history of the world. At this point I believe that all bets are off. I cannot imagine the kind of culture that might exist after such a flashpoint of knowledge. I believe that our culture would probably move into a completely different state, would move past the boiling point, from a fluid culture to a culture of steam".- Alan Moore

I really dig the combination of the antiquated primitivity and the modern Apple products

Very nice artwork. I particularily like Eve's face of second guessing herself and Adam watching and focusing on Eve. His concern for her is of course what was most important to him and thus he chose to fall with her. Evolving the "apples" is a very nice and comical touch behind the layered symbolism. I quite enjoyed your wit.

Returning to the concept that multifaceted "information" underlies all existence: "In the beginning the Word already existed; the Word was with God, and the Word was God. From the very beginning the Word was with God..the Word was the source of life, and this life brought light to people. And the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it" (John 1:1-2, 4-5). I've always considered this strong parallel with interest. You communicated the nucleus of this truth quite well.

The addition of the Alan Moore quote further enhanced your theme of unbridled information, mass communication and the vanity of human knowledge in a modern society. I love also how you borrowed from particular creative influences, notably the composition of figures in most High Renaissance depictions of Adam and Eve (think Raphaello Sanzio); and the acidic earth tones and impasto application from contemporary artist Ashley Wood. My breath has been reft. Beautiful.

Alan Moore helped write V for Vendetta, right? If so, I think it's brilliant.
Is this what you did for Julia, then?
