Because I don't only shoot guns. Bows are fun too. They also leave you tired and sore if you're not used to them, especially your fingertips. Dear god do those bowstrings hurt your fingertips. I did the archery lesson right after the ATV ride, which right after a 4 hour fishing trip. That might also have been a factor on why I was so tired that the room spun a bit on occasion. But yea. I'm nowhere near as good at archery as I am at shooting guns, but I did get decent by the end of the day. I love the bow I was using.Related content

ah, it has bin so vary long since i fired a bow, i remeber how it just worked for me, i aparinly had a bit of a gift for them, tho it was so long ago, i have no clue if i still can hit a targit, also, why r u not wearing guards?, i remeber if u get cliped buy the string as its releseing, it was unplesint to say the leest, tho agen, long time ago, and we wernt useing a bow like that, was an old fashun kind, one string, no ajustmints or any thing, i do wunder if my thing with bows, wuold have also aplyed to guns, but i nevr had acashun to hold one, let alown fire one, always liked bows beter on awot of guns always seemed a bit unfare, i meen shore being good with agan is an art, but u dunt need to be good to kill with one, it helps, but anyone can kill with a gun, (plse note the unfochnit cases of litul kids geting ahold of one, and some of the tragic resalts) but a bow, it need power from u just to work, and if u dun have aclue what your doing, your not rely goint to hit anything with any fores, but thats just me, its nt that i hate guns, tho i m not rely a "fan" per say, i do like the desin stuff, i meen ful ato, as a feet of engnering, is butful its so simpul in consept, and so efishint int its use, so wal i rely can't see much resun most pepull weod evr need to have such things, i cant denay the elagince of it

I had a guard, but that came later, and I ended up taking it off because it was uncomfortable. The instructor wanted us to fire the bows with no equipment for a bit, so that we could learn proper stance. It was fun. I learned very quickly not to hit myself with the bow string. I was was decent with the bow, but I wasn't great. I did get better by the end of the day though. i had a lot of fun. It was a very long, tiring, but fulfilling day.
