Yes, I have successfully snuck in some time on my personal work.
Actually I was just taking a break, and thought that I would finish this up. It was practically done anyway. Well on to the picture...
This is, I don't have a name, and I absolutely love him! My husband hates him. He murmured something along the lines of creepy when I forced him to critique this. I really don't think this is all that bad, but you can let me know what you think. ^_^
Sketched and painted him in CS3. Background and texture is from my own personal stock. I added a few effects and wallah, there you have it.

I love what you did with the hair! This is a really interesting composition and I probably call it creepy myself just looking at the blank stare and the "spectre-dull" colors.lol I think this came out great!

Thanks! Hair is one of my favorite things to draw, paint, etc. 
I thought it was creep, but in a laughable way as well. I couldn't help but think(while drawing this) of the cliche scene in a manga, where the heroine finds herself locked in a building after dark...^_^
Anyway, I'm glad that you enjoyed this! I'm trying to perfect my dudes, and I'm glad I did well on this. It does work well for October. XD I confess that I hadn't thought about that when I finished it.

I see the Gatton Ghost effect has seeped in to your personal work. is that the case?

Hmm, maybe. I used the liquify tool for the Gatton among other things. On him, I duplicated him a couple of times and fiddled with the opacity and layer modes until I was satisfied. You're probably right though. I was subconsciously influenced by the ghostly Gatton.

It's coming along nicely, or I think so. I had to put it off for a little bit, due to the fact that I was sick. So I'm not as far as I would like, but that's life.

He is kinda creepy. Something about the hair seems off to me, I'm no photoshop expert or anything like that. XD But it just looks interesting.

Hmm, it is probably the effects I used. I was trying to convey a sense of shifting in the surrounding environment,and with him. Like he is in a state of mid-change.
